Our Story:
Craftmanship legacy reimagined
Cocono was born in Mouscron, Belgium, where founder Marine grew up surrounded by looms, fibres, and the artistry of luxury carpets. Inspired by her family’s heritage, she decided to transform what was often overlooked:
leftover yarns, ends of rolls, surplus from premium carpet production.
From these forgotten materials, Marine imagined new possibilities: rugs, poufs, baskets, table linens, and home accents that combine timeless elegance with sustainable design.

Our Craft:
From leftover yarns to unique creations
Every Cocono piece is made with premium leftover yarns: wool, linen, solk, sisal, and other high-end fibres.
Each yarn carries a history, each color a story.
Instead of imposing trends, we let materials guide our collections:
creating limited editions and one-of-a-kind pieces.
Made in Belgium, every detail from weaving to finishing respects the standards of luxury craftsmanship.
Our Values:
Redefining luxury, sustainably
At Cocono, our values guide every decision we make.
We don’t pursue sustainability as a trend, but as a way of honoring materials, people, and heritage.
-
Respect for materials → every thread is given a second life, avoiding waste and celebrating what remains.
-
Respect for people → our pieces are crafted with care in Belgium, supporting local know-how and fair production.
-
Respect for beauty → we design objects that are not only responsible, but also timeless and poetic, meant to live with you for years.

Sustainability is the essence of how Cocono exists.
Our Process: From Surplus Yarns to Timeless Design
At Cocono, creation begins where others stop.
We work exclusively with surplus yarns originally produced for luxury interiors - not leftovers in quality, only in quantity. Dyed for designer carpets, wall textiles, and high-end upholstery, these threads already carry the richness of their origin.
Once in our hands, they are carefully sorted by fiber, color, and thickness, building a refined palette for each collection. Wool, viscose, Tencel, and polyamide blends - all interior-grade fibers -are selected for their durability, texture, and visual depth.
Unlike conventional production, we never re-dye or order new threads. Instead, we let availability guide design, turning constraints into creative freedom. Each Cocono piece is naturally limited, born from precision sorting, small-batch weaving, and a zero-waste philosophy.
Our production partners are chosen for their craftsmanship and environmental standards. Hand-tufted or loom-finished, every item is perfected down to the binding, backing, and finishing details - ensuring both beauty and longevity.
This process is what makes Cocono unique: objects that are visually intentional, technically sound, and sustainably grounded.
